As a teenager, it’s easy to think life is just beginning and you have all the time in the world. But God wants you to know that your life, energy, and opportunities are sacred trusts. They are not random gifts; they are assignments. Ecclesiastes 12:1 says, “Remember your Creator in the days of your youth.” This means every dream, talent, and decision you make now should point back to the One who gave you life. You are not too young to live with purpose and responsibility.
Stewardship starts with small choices—how you spend your time, who you listen to, what you focus on. Every hour you waste chasing trends or comparing yourself to others is an hour taken from your purpose. When you see your energy as something given by God, you start investing it wisely: in learning, serving, and growing. Stewardship isn’t about being perfect; it’s about being intentional with what God has placed in your hands.
Opportunities are doors that reveal how faithful you’ve been with little. When you use your voice to encourage others, your talents to bless your generation, and your time to seek God, you show that you can be trusted with more. Luke 16:10 reminds us, “He who is faithful in little will be faithful in much.” Great destinies begin with daily stewardship—how you handle today prepares you for what God will do tomorrow.
Self-Assessment:
– Am I using my time and energy for things that bring me closer to God’s purpose?
– Do I treat my talents and opportunities as tools for service or for self-promotion?
– How can I start managing my daily life in a way that honors God’s trust in me?
