Teenager's!! What is Bondage?

Have you ever felt like something had a hold on you—like no matter how much you tried, you couldn’t break free? Maybe it’s a habit you know isn’t right, but it feels too hard to stop. It could be spending hours scrolling through social media, even when it drains your peace. Or maybe it’s the pressure to fit in, leading you to say or do things you know don’t honor God. These things might seem small at first, but over time, they can quietly take control, pulling you further away from the freedom Christ offers. The Bible says in 2 Peter 2:19, "...for people are slaves to whatever has mastered them." Anything that masters you—whether it’s a thought, a behavior, or a relationship—can become a form of bondage.

The hard part is, sometimes we don’t even realize we’re in bondage because the world normalizes these struggles. Everyone gossips a little, right? Everyone hides the truth sometimes. But God wants more for you. He created you for freedom—not to be trapped by things that steal your joy and peace. And the truth is, the longer you stay under the weight of something, the harder it can feel to break free. But here’s the good news: If the Son sets you free, you are free indeed (John 8:36). Real freedom doesn’t come from trying harder—it comes from letting Jesus take the weight off your shoulders. What would it look like for you to invite Him into the areas where you feel stuck?

Take a moment to be honest with yourself—are there things in your life controlling you more than God does? Is there a habit you feel powerless to stop or a thought that keeps you trapped in fear or insecurity? God isn’t standing far away, waiting to judge you—He’s right here, ready to walk with you toward freedom. You don’t have to stay in bondage. The same Jesus who broke the power of sin and death can break anything holding you back. Will you trust Him with those hidden struggles today?

Teenagers, Finding Purpose through Christ

Hey there, teens! School's out, the sun's shining, and summer's calling your name. But beyond the fun and freedom, there's a golden opportunity waiting for you: the chance to dive into self-discovery and uncover your unique purpose. You might wonder, "Why now?" Well, because you were created for a specific reason, as a solution to a specific problem, and through the knowledge of Christ, you can start to uncover that purpose. Why Self-Discovery Matters In a world that's always changing, knowing who you are and what you stand for gives you a solid foundation. Self-discovery helps you understand your strengths, passions, and values. It's about figuring out what makes you tick and what brings you joy. When you know yourself better, you can make choices that align with your true self, leading to a more fulfilling and purposeful life. Created for a Reason Ephesians 2:10 says, "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, whi...

Sex and Lust

*Sex & LUST* I need you to understand that LUST is different from SEX. Lust is a desire in the heart to gain a sexual experience with some one. Sex is a decision and action. Your problem is not sex but LUST. Lust is the major challenge of teenagers. If there is no LUST at work, sex won't step in. Lust always shows up in your mind or head as a suggestion. The moment you give it attention, it settles and becomes your master. There is nothing like unplanned sex...or temptation that showed up accidentally. Temptation or rape is an opportunity that met a prepared mind trained or nurtured by LUST. Guard your heart against LUST via Gods Word and it will become easy to deal with the issue of sex. Sex is a choice, a decision and an option or suggestion. It is not a helpless feeling. It's deliberate in nature consciously or unconsciously. The Holy Spirit is aware of your struggle. Come to him un-ashamed. HOPE EXPRESSION celebrates you. # PrinceVictorMatthew

Teenager, Who Are You Really?

Have you ever felt like you’re trying to be someone you’re not? Maybe you feel pressured to fit in, to look a certain way, or to meet expectations that don’t align with who you truly are. The world is loud, constantly telling you who you should be, how you should act, and what you should believe. But have you ever stopped to ask, Who does God say I am? 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” You are not defined by your past mistakes, your insecurities, or the labels people place on you. In Christ, you are made new. Your worth isn’t found in popularity, achievements, or how many people approve of you. Your worth is found in the One who created you. Psalm 139:14 reminds you, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” Think about that for a moment. You are not an accident. You are not a mistake. Every part of you—your personality, your gifts, your dreams—was intentionally designed by God....
