Unmask

Matthew 11:28

God’s plan and purpose for every teenager is for them to become training conscious. Teenage is the stage of life from discovering purpose and path of life. Teenage is a stage from training according to Gods intention. Teenage is a stage where a lot of things draw your attention. Teenage is a stage teenager conceives lots of question. Teenage is a stage where the foundation of destiny must be in place through Gods wisdom.

Teenagers live with lots of expectations from parents and society so much that they wear mask. The mask is not the hiding places for teenagers but this is not the original plan of God. The urge of acceptance in the hearts of teenagers is so high that they just pretend to be accepted. The need of a sense of belonging is presently making teenagers to embrace the mask. The mask has influenced each teenager to dual identity but this is not part of Gods plan.

What is the mask?
The mask is any material, mindset or attitude we put on just to be accepted by people. The mask is a lifestyle of pretence, manipulation, deception, domineering attitude, greed and lies. The mask is a mindset that makes you to believe things that are not truly part of you. The mask is the impression you create for people to see, love and accept as true. The mask is what you want people to believe about you aside from the original truth. The mask is compromising your faith just for your friends to accept you. The mask is you deceiving people to love and accept you. The mask is you not being truthful to your self just because you want people to love you. The mask is you living to fit into people expectation instead of Gods expectation. The mask is you pleasing other people even if it means you insulting your priority just because you want to be accepted. The mask is a defence used to live a false life with the desire of being loved in return.

Who is this mask?
The mask can be any body, material, mindset or attitude. The mask is the relationship you keep just to feed your ego. The mask is the expensive handset you buy just because you want to show off. The mask is the designer wear you put on just to cover up your low self esteem. The mask is any thing you feel incomplete when it’s being taken from you. The mask is the wrong impression you give to people on Facebook and twitter just to earn their respect. The mask is the lies you speak just to make people love you and respect you. The mask is you lying about your virginity because you are ashamed to say you are a virgin. The mask is the attitude you on just to pretend and gain the approval of someone you admire. The mask is any relationship or material you embrace just to feed your ego and pride. The masks are the things you do to fit into the expectation of the society even if you are not comfortable with it. The mask is any thing, any material or relationship that has hindered you from being your real self. The mask is a life with the absence truthfulness, sincerity and freedom to be all God has created you to be.

How is the mask?
The mask is crafty in nature. The mask is manipulative in nature. The mask is innocent in nature but full of lies. The mask is full of pretence. The mask is using material or people to cover up your weakness instead of dealing with your weakness. The mask is you thinking you are loved because of your friend love you. The mask is you thinking you are unique because of your friend approval. The mask is you making excuses for your indecision. The mask is you using your anger to silent people from correcting you. The mask is you being rude just to avoid being rebuked for your mistakes. The mask is you allowing sex with your fellow teenager or some on just to avoid being mocked. The mask is you stealing money just to meet up to the expectations of your fellow teenagers. The mask is you lying about your background just to feel important. The mask is stressful because you have to keep lying to meet up to the expectation of people.

Why do teenagers wear mask?
No teenager actually loves to wear mask; urge of acceptance in them is the cause. Teenagers wear mask just to be accepted and loved. Teenagers wear mask just to gain approval from friends, family and the society. Teenagers wear mask as an escape from dealing with their personal issues through Gods word. Teenagers wear mask to gain sense of belonging to a group or trend. Teenagers wear mask because they are ashamed of accepting their lacks and needs. Teenagers wear mask to protect a side of their lives they feel will make people to reject them.

Where is the mask?
The mask is in the heart, the mindset, the attitude, and every word teenagers speak, with the aim to make people love, and accept them.

What is the way forward?
The way forward for teenagers to unmask is for them to just be their self. Teenagers, you must learn to know you are unique the way you are. The way forward for teenagers to unmask is for them to come to Jesus. The way forward for teenagers to unmask is for them to find rest in Jesus. The way forward for teenagers to unmask is for them to value their selves just the way Jesus values them. The way forward for teenagers to unmask is for them to stop impressing people and start pleasing God. The way forward for teenagers to unmask is for them to see who they are through the word of God. The way forward for teenager to unmask is for them to re-define their priority through Gods word. The way forward for teenagers to unmask is for them re-define their values through the Word of God. The way forward for teenagers to unmask is to know Jesus loves them so much. The way forward for teenagers to unmask is for them to know God has forgiven them and accepted them. The way forward for teenagers to unmask is for them that their value and respect is in Christ Jesus. The way forward for teenagers to unmask for them to understand sex before marriage is an insult to their dignity.  Teenagers must live free from the society; you are only here on earth to please God. Don’t be afraid to be a lone as a teenager; you are unique. If any one hates you for pleasing the Lord, such people do not deserve your friendship.

You are unique not because of the kind of phone you use; you are unique because Jesus loves you. You are not unique because of the number of ladies or guys you have kissed; you are unique because Jesus loves you. You are not unique because your parents are rich; you are unique because Jesus loves you. You are not unique because you have sex frequently with guys; you are unique because Jesus loves you. You are not unique because of your designer wear or perfume; you are unique because Jesus loves you. You are not unique because of the set of your friends; you are unique because Jesus loves you. You are not unique because you smoke and watch porn; you are unique because Jesus loves you. You are not unique because of your profile picture on whatsup, facebook or twitter; you are unique because Jesus loves you.

You are not unique because of your beauty and curves; you are unique because Jesus loves you. You are not unique because of all the fake impression; you are unique because Jesus loves you. Dare to be your self; you are a teenager with purpose. They can mock you but don’t give up on your dream. They can mock you but protect your virginity with dignity. They can mock you but keep studying your bible. They can mock you but focus and look unto Jesus the author and finisher of your faith. They can mock you but dare to say “no” to night parties or night clubs. They can mock you but still say “no” to smoking and watch of porn. They can mock you about your weaknesses but allow Jesus to make you. They can mock you about the things you lack but still be contended with what the Lord has provided for you. Remove that mask and just be your self. If He or she doesn’t love you it doesn’t mean you are useless; your value as a teenager is in Christ.

Teenagers, Prayer Is A Lifestyle

Prayer is not just a religious routine—it’s a personal conversation with God, your Father, who cares deeply about every detail of your life. For teenagers navigating school, friendships, emotions, and choices, daily prayer can become a safe place to process it all. It’s more than asking God for things; it’s about sharing your thoughts, listening for His guidance, and allowing His peace to fill your heart. Think of it like talking to your best friend—honest, real, and consistent. Even five to ten minutes each morning can reset your mood, shift your focus, and help you start your day with a clear mind and a peaceful heart. You don’t need fancy words. Just be real. Whether you're praying silently, whispering, or writing your thoughts in a journal like a letter to God, what matters is your heart. Over time, prayer becomes a habit that helps you stay calm in pressure, kind when it's hard, and strong when you're tempted to quit. If you're wondering how to grow in this, start ...

10 Assessment for Discovering Your God-Given Talents and Passions as Teenagers

1. Reflect on the activities that make you lose track of time because you enjoy them so much. How do these activities align with what you believe God has placed in your heart? Consider Ecclesiastes 3:11, which says, “He has made everything beautiful in its time.” How can you use these passions to serve others? 2. Identify a talent or skill you have that others often compliment or seek your help with. How does this talent reflect God’s purpose for your life? In 1 Peter 4:10, we are reminded to use our gifts to serve others. How can you use this talent to make a positive impact? 3. Think about a time when you felt particularly fulfilled or proud of an accomplishment. What strengths or skills did you use in that moment? Reflect on how these might be part of God’s plan for you, as stated in Philippians 2:13, “For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.” 4. Consider your dreams and aspirations. What do you dream of achieving, and how m...
